What is the Weekly Online Meditation Class?

The Weekly Online Meditation Class is a community event hosted online every Tuesday at 5pm PT/8pm ET by Yogi Shambu.

This is a space where we gather online each week, and with Shambu’s experience in yogic practice, he supports you to master your own spiritual environment within. 

Yogi Shambu’s meditation coaching will assist you to cut to the core of what works in your practice, while leaving behind the techniques that are unnecessary and outdated. 

The communal meditation will also enable you to charge and amplify your personal practice, supporting you to expand your energy reserves, personally bloom while in a group setting, and be intuitively inspired by others’ strengths while offering your own to the group. Like an orchestra, when we gather together, we are truly greater than the sum of our parts.  

The Weekly Online Meditation Class is a positive and focused environment, where you can finally take that much-needed ‘me time’, and establish a regular time to turn inward. The Weekly Online Meditation Class is not a therapy session or a healing session, although healing and therapeutic benefit may occur. Our meditation space is one of private, inward contemplation that feeds back into the shared communal space for mutual benefit. FAQs

What do I need to bring for class?

Bring a comfortable chair (or cushion if you are sitting on the floor), a candle, and if you’d like, any sacred objects that are special to you, or spiritual tools that you rely on to facilitate your inner work.

Does this replace a Distance Healing Session?

Though the Weekly Meditation Classes augment Distance Healing Sessions, Distance Healing Sessions provide a next-level of personal insight and individual energy healing.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the Weekly Online Meditation Class?

Give yourself 10-15 minutes before the event to prepare a quiet, comfortable space for yourself, relax and clear your mind, and take some deep slow breaths before joining the call. You may also wish to change into comfortable clothing.

Are my family/housemates allowed to join me?

If family and friends are in your company while the event is taking place, then of course they are welcome, though an investment into the healing field with individual payment increases personal benefit.

Can I be seated, or do I need to lie down for the Weekly Online Meditation Class?

Either is fine. Assume a comfortable position you can relax in easily for the duration of the event.

What do I do if strong emotions or experiences arise during the Weekly Online Meditation Class?

Waves of emotions, insights, and sensations are common during meditation. To help manage and soothe these responses, you can try some of the following: assume child's pose or happy baby pose, wash your hands, feet, and face with warm or cold water, deepen your breath by doubling the length of your exhale. Contact Shambu for further help/healing.

What do I do if I need deeper, more personalized support?

I’ve never taken an online class before, is it easy to access?

Yes, I will send a Zoom link (online conference tool) to you by email before the class each week. You simply need to click the link and follow the prompts to enter the class. Be sure you have a working webcam and microphone. 

What if I don’t want to be seen or heard on camera during the event?

Simply turn off your camera and microphone in Zoom at the beginning of the live event. There is no obligation to be seen or heard. 

The Weekly Online Meditation Class is NOT for…

  • Those in a crisis needing immediate 1-1 attention or support (book a private Distance Healing Session) 

  • Individuals suffering from serious mental health conditions that need to be addressed by healthcare professionals. 

  • People in danger of imminent physical harm from themselves or others. Please reach out for support to the appropriate resources.
